Due to space constraints and my budget I would like to get a mini pc so I can continue video editing while at college. I typically edit with 4k footage, but I can figure out how to use proxies if that would be an issue. I don't use a ton of effects so I figured I don't need something with the best gpu.
These are the two I've narrowed it down to, but I'm not quite sure if they will be ideal:
GEEKOM GT13 Pro i9 Mini PC
(13th Gen Intel i9-13900H [14C/20T Up to 5.4GHz], 32GB DDR4, 2TB M.2 2280 NVMe Gen 4*4 SSD)
Mac Mini 2024 with 24gb of ram
(Apple M4 chip with 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine, 24GB unified memory, 256GB SSD storage)
Because of a student discount, both end up being the same price. I would appreciate any insight or help with choosing what I should get, as I very well may have missed a gem.
