Workspace & Column Layout

Are workspace work with page? i mean does i have to go back to the page (color, edit etc)of the workspace recorded before reload it?

Other question why my column layout allways dissapear?

One workspace layout for all pages.
I also see that the column setting in the media pool is reset every time I switch pages.
Even if a preset has been created, I have to re-select it each time.
