Source tape mode markers misaligned in varying framerates

Perhaps a little arcane, and perhaps not technically a bug, but here we go.
I have some media in the browser that doesn't match my Project framerate -- this media is 23.976 and project is set to 25.
If I preview a bin of 23.976 media using the new Source Tape view in the Edit page, and add markers to the clips, when you then open the clip on its own (Source Clip view), the markers aren't where you put them in Source Tape view.
I compared to using clips whos timecode does match (25p clips in a 25p project), and those markers are correct.
But add a marker to an off-fps clip in source tape view, and they're in the wrong place.
I assume this is because when viewing in Source Tape, you're effectively looking at it in the Project frame rate. I see this as a way to scrub through a bin full of media and mark interesting points; I'm quite sure that's the intention, which breaks that workflow when mixing framerates in a project.
