Cannot purchase directly from Black Magic

I've been using Davinci Pro for over a year, and finally decided to upgrade to Studio. On check out, I received a credit card error. After some back and forth between BMD support and PayPal, I found out that some PayPal accounts are somehow incompatible and my only choice is to purchase through a reseller which is more expensive. This is a known issue with no fix available or planned.

Frustrations aside with spending my morning on the phone to remove the pending transaction left on my account, I'm concerned about paying for future upgrades (See: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=218655).

This is really disheartening because I love the software. Please fix this.

I just had the same issue. Was double charged for the purchase, and have still not received any code or anything. When I log into my PayPal, it says they are waiting for authorization from Blackmagic. This is very concerning, as I am worried about getting my money back, as well as need the studio version ASAP for a project. If anyone has figured this out yet please let me know!!!

Hi all

When you have an issue purchasing a license from the Blackmagic Design website, please include your region (and the region of the credit card). I'm not involved in the sales side, but it allows us enough information to figure out follow up steps.
