I use HDR remote Monitoring since it was added in (I guess) 18.xx mainly for client reviewing live on iPad Pro at their location or sitting in same grading room in another area (Local Host without using web)
Problem is that the iPad Pro M2 in reference mode (Tested later on iPhone14 pro MAX, 15pro & iPad Pro M4) suddenly start behaving as SDR 100 nits monitor & the HDR graded footage starts showing over blown highlights in mid session with the client.
Firstly I thought client might have set things wrong, so I tested same iPad sitting on my desk both with BMD sign in & in Local host mode on multiple Apple devices as mentioned above. All devices show the same problem after a while HDR grades start showing over blown highlight.
Using iPad Pro as Sidecar 2nd monitor with Video clean feed also shows the same problem.
Seems like Resolve gets spooked with some Mac internal settings or its own color management settings & I am not able to figure out why this happens, it happens randomly but mostly after 15-20 mins of play not before that duration.
Once the iPad starts behaving as SDR monitor, the only solution I have found is to quit Davinci Resolve Restart iPad pro or iPhone & then everything works back to normal showing excellent HDR grades.
LG C4 TV connected via UltraStudio 3g Monitor to Macbook Pro M2 doesn't show this problem, I did a clean install of v19.1.3 on another Macbook pro M2 but that still has same problem.
1. Is there any time limit for Remote monitoring?
2. Am I missing some critical Resolve settings?
3. Has anyone else faced this problem?
