The biggest problem is that there are still so many API restrictions in Resolve.
If you got ideas it would be great to describe them here so everyone can chime in and have a look if that can be made into a script or not.

I would love to be able to install PIP to at least find out each node's dir and attributes. I am a lot better at Python but no problem when using Lua.

Bring your ideas to life. :D

in my opinion, thanks to your scripts, you can create process optimizations that can significantly streamline the times.
take a look at this youtubers by referring to this link:

what do you think?
I saw that they also use the python programming language
let's talk about it in depth in everyone's interest.

hi roberto, thank you, we hope that all the limitations you mentioned will be removed or reduced, for the good and optimization of the program.
I think that in this our ideas can make the program grow and improve in collaboration with those who have greater skills in symbiosis with the program development team.
it would be nice to trigger new usage scenarios improvements innovations bug repairs etc etc.
we should create a post aimed at this.
I think it would be fantastic.
what do you think and what do you think?
greetings to everyone marco

thank you andy mees for the precious link, I would say with very technical notions, it would be desirable if others would also intervene, possibly sharing their own works or proposing new ones among us.
it would be fantastic and useful for all of us.
let's think about it thanks marco

If you don't put in the work to describe your ideas exactly; what you want to achieve and for what purpose, and how a script automation will improve that - nothing will happen.
Just posting a link to a website with an automation tool won't cut it.

You want someone put in time and effort for creating a certain tool - then put in some time and effort into the idea and concept of that tool.

you are absolutely right, here in addition to my ideas it would be nice to be able to share those of others and therefore understand the feasibility
