Deliver Page: Render individual clips not adding .mov suffix

PostSun May 18, 2025 10:14 pm

As the title suggests, when I render individual clips from my timeline using custom file name (filename001 etc) when the final render is output they look like this:

filename001
filename002
filename003

and so on. It will not add the .mov suffix as in:

filename001.mov
etc

an update on this. it is creating the .mov extension, but hiding it. It appears as the file is being created, but as it moves on to the next render clip it disappears.

I have my finder settings to always show extensions, so it seems to not be inheriting this setting, unlike any other files I stick in these, or any folders via any other app.

I know it's a bit of a non-problem now I've figured out what's going on, but is this by design?

thanks,

jake
