Issues about the output of XYZ-encoded TIFF files

PostMon May 19, 2025 8:13 am

I am a beginner with DaVinci. I have an issue when outputting XYZ-encoded TIFF files using DaVinci.
The source materials are DCI-P3 RGB TIFF files with gamma 2.6, I wanted to color grade them in DaVinci and then output DCI-P3 XYZ TIFF files. I have a monitor that supports XYZ-encoded images. The entire process seemed normal, but the color of the output XYZ images are incorrect—red has turned into orange-yellow
My project settings are as follows:
Color science: Davinci YRGB Color Managed
Color processing mode: Custom
Input color space: P3-DCI gamma2.6
Timeline color space: P3-DCI gamma2.6
Output color space: DCI XYZ gamma2.6
Input DRT: None
Output DRT: None

and the Deliver setting:
Format:TIFF
Codec: XYZ 16bits

and then, I changed the source material, I found some DCI XYZ TIFF files as source, every thing are normal before outputred—red has turned into yellow too :(
This time I just input DCI XYZ files and output them in the same format, but the color changed.
I don't know what's wrong with DaVinci. Please help me!
