All databases were disconnect

PostMon May 19, 2025 2:41 pm

When trying to enter into a project created in version 20, the BSOD screen popped up, (attached log). After the reboot, the database wiped out, even the databases of version 19 were erased. Nvidia may be involved, as the nvidia app program for configuring drivers has asked to send a log file.

UPD

Only version 20 of the database was completely deleted. The 19th version just disconnected. I restored the projects of version 20 via backups.

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

When you says "deleted" and "erased" do you mean they don't show up in the database manager, or that they're actually gone from the disk and can't be found if you look for them with the OS? I didn't look at your upload, but are you talking about local databases or servers?

If these are local databases, the connection may have been severed, but they're probably still on disk. But without knowing more of what you tried to do and your setup, impossible to say.

The version 19 database was simply disconnected. All the projects were in place when i reconnected it. The database that I created specifically for version 20 was permanently erased, it was active at that moment. I searched in the program folders for where they were supposed to be.

That doesn't really answer it. Were you using the default v20 database, or did you create a new one yourself?

If you remember the v20 project names, search for them with the OS. If the database is still on disk, there should be folders with those project names in subfolders of the database. You could also do a blanket search for "project.db", but you'll get hits for any and all databases on the disk(s).

Thank you, I think I found it using your advice, but I don't understand why I can't connect — it seems like I'm doing everything correctly.
