I have a dual screen setup:
- a 34" Ultra Wide monitor, this one is at the 'bottom', used for the timeline
- and a 27" monitor for preview, this one is above the bottom one.
I set up resolve on the Edit Page as follows:
- Workspace > Dual screen: On, Full Screen timeline.
- Workspace > Primary display: Generic PnP monitor 1
On the Edit page, I setup the bottom monitor (34") as 'Generic PnP monitor 1', so it has the timeline itself and the Inspector.
On my Generic PnP monitor 2 (my 27" monitor), I have the Source Viewer, Media Folders, Metadata (Effects, Sound library, Keyframes).
It seems okay on the Edit page, however, if I switch to the Color page, everything changes:
The Source viewer, the Color wheels, the Nodes tab goes to Generic PnP monitor 1 (34"), and my Scopes and Gallery goes to my 27" top monitor, Generic PnP monitor 2.
So basically everything swapped up.
I feel like I don't have too much control over how I want to set up my workspace as nothing really has the 'floating' option, almost everything glued together and I can only change which monitor is my 'Generic PnP monitor 1".
Or am I missing something?
I would like to have my Source Viewer to always stay on my top monitor (27") whether its the Edit page or the Color page.
Thank you in advance for replies.
