I just downloaded 19.4 from the official website, uploading the video to the project from the disc (video with sound).. But for some reason, the sound doesn't work. I'm new to this business and I've already searched the entire Internet, but I still haven't found the answer. My brain is already boiling with this problem. Help please.


I have a PC and a Laptop.
PC: Intel Core i3 12th generation, graphics card -- RTX3060 , RAM -- 16GB DDR4, SSD -- 512GB
HDD -- 1tb .
Laptop: Intel Core i5 12450H, RAM 16GB, graphics card -- Intel UHD Graphics, SSD 512 GB.

The sound doesn't work either way. The settings are standard, as when downloading. I didn't change anything.

Did you look in the manual? Not a lot of info to go off of but I'm guessing you didn't set your audio output in the preferences menu.

Check these. These are my settings for using on-board audio.

Just a suggestion. Go to user control panel then profile then edit signature. Put your hardware and software version in there it saves us asking what your using.

I see no waveform in that mp4 pic am I mistaken

I've checked all the audio outputs and inputs. I'm telling you)). I've searched a lot of sites, a lot of similar problems, but they haven't helped solve mine. I went through the settings and changed everything... It didn't work out.

I have the same basic settings)). I haven't changed anything, that's why I'm puzzling over the problem.

Yes, I also noticed right away that there was no waveform on the track, which alerted me. And when I turned it on, there was no sound. I wrote the characteristics of the PC in the post. (hopefully, by the time you're reading this, the moderators have approved the changes.) And I note that everything is fine with the file, it turns on on the PC, and most importantly, the same thing happens with other files when uploading to DaVinci.
