Mic IN 48V Phantom UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3
Posted: Tue May 20, 2025 3:18 pmI’ve been using a Mac Studio (2025) M3 Ultra for a few weeks now and have chosen the UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3 for Capture & Playback, primarily because it offers a microphone input with 48V phantom power and a gain control knob. In the “Desktop Video Setup” software, I can select the microphone as the audio input, enable phantom power, and adjust the gain—both via software and directly on the device.
However, the microphone input does not appear as an available device in DaVinci Resolve or any other software I’ve tested. Additionally, there seems to be no documentation explaining how to use this input.
Could you please clarify how to enable or access the microphone input in DaVinci Resolve?
