I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it was always like this. When I have a timeline with multiple clips, and on top of each clip I have a text generator clip, if I select all the text clips, the behavior is that if the text is exactly the same in all of them, and I change something else, like for example the text size, when I press Enter it will set the text in all the selected clips to the new size. That's all fine.
However, let's say you have five text clips, and either they all have different text or even just one of them has different text, or it might be the same text, but for some reason you needed to enter a line break between two words, so you may have two lines of text as opposed to just one.
If that's the case, when you select all five clips, the Rich Text field in the inspector doesn't show any text, and that makes sense because it would be confusing. But the problem comes with the behavior if you change any other parameter, like for example the text size. When you type in a new number and press Enter, the text will disappear from all the text clips, because it seems that the default behavior is to reapply every single parameter in the text generator.
That shouldn't be the case. In most programs that allow you to select several clips and batch change parameters, it only changes the ones that you actively changed, like in this case it should only change the size, and leave the text unchanged in all of them, unless I specifically typed in new text, in which case it should replace it in all of them.
Did I explain this more or less clearly?
