Audio stops/misaligns in beta 4

PostWed May 21, 2025 9:22 am

I dont know why, but diring regular editing in beta 4 sometimes the audio stops. I just noticed that in fairlight it shows up at a different place?
After a restart this always is fixed, but it happens every few minutes.

Video of problem:

This did not happen in beta 3

I have this as well. I think there should also be a way to adjust latency/lag, especially with an ultrastudio monitor. Audio plug-ins cause sync latency, and we can't compensate for it which makes it harder to gauge picture lock. Now you can only have a positive delay on ultrastudio, but a negative delay is what's needed, since we have to compensate for existing latency, not add more!

There was a second Beta 4 (Build 48) fixing some audio issues on Windows.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
