I’ve been loving the latest beta updates — BMD keeps focusing on improving the new Keyframes panel, and it shows. Please keep it up and make this the best Keyframes panel ever made in a video editing program.
Here are some additional suggestions that could make it even better:
Inspired by Fusion’s Spline Editor:- Add an option to reverse the order of selected keyframes.
- Allow pasting keyframes in reversed order (great for zoom in/out animations).
- Enable duplicating a keyframe by clicking and dragging while holding Ctrl or Alt.
- Add two numeric controls to adjust the ease-in and ease-out values of selected keyframes — similar to what happens when you press Ctrl+T in Fusion’s Spline panel.
More general improvements:- Add a shortcut to open the new Keyframe tray directly from the timeline.
- The current ease-in/out button creates a very strong easing — consider reducing the default or allowing users to customize it.
- The "Anchor Point" parameter of a clip currently can’t be edited in the curves graph — any reason why?
This has been one of the most exciting features of Resolve 20 so far!
Thanks BMD!
