.srt get “converted” in import

resolve 19.1.4 Linux

I have a SRT file that looks all kosher if I open it with a text editor, but upon loading it in teh machine the timecodes switch/get converted from 24.000 to 23.976 shifting all teh subtitles out fo place.

What am i doing wrong?

Apparently is a known issue… it would have been nice if resolve :asked: before changing timecodes on me: the actual timecodes in teh SRT file (when I open them with a text editor) are spot on, if I put the SRT on a 24.000 timeline, it is spot on, if i put it on a 23.978 timeline, it drift, and that is baloney….
