Waveform Disappearing in Multicam Timeline when i switch TL

Hey all,
I'm running into a weird issue with a multicam clip in DaVinci Resolve. I've gone through the multicam training and synced everything up properly, but the audio waveform keeps disappearing from the timeline.
Here’s what’s happening:
I created a timeline called "chatgpt-multicam" which is essentially my sync timeline.
I then cut my angles and did the actual editing in a timeline called "Rami Podcast."
The waveform for my WAV audio file sometimes shows up after leaving DaVinci idle for a bit, but as soon as I switch to another timeline and come back, the waveform disappears again.
It's making it really hard to find clip points or transcribe.
Follow-up question:
I want to transcribe the audio so I can easily find key moments to cut short clips from the podcast. But when I try transcribing the sync timeline or the original WAV file, it doesn’t help me mark clips in the “Rami Podcast” timeline.
Should I be transcribing the audio in the Rami Podcast timeline to get accurate marker placement?
Any insight into both the waveform disappearing and the best way to handle transcription for clip selection would be massively appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
