Greenscreen Cropping Out Garbage

I'm cropping the right and left side of frame which are past the greenscreen and for some reason the entire frame is being cropped. My plate shot layer is filling the frame, but the greenscreen crop is affecting that layer not just the greenscreen layer. Thanks for any help.

I can't really tell anything useful from that screenshot. Can you post the entire screen at full resolution?

It must be a bug. I just matted out the sides of the frame in color

It depends on the way you "cropped" your image...
Are you doing it in Fusion ? The regular way is to add a garbage matte polygon into the GM input of the keyer node.
Your screenshot doesn't show anything but if for some reasons you cropped the whole image (like for ex. with a crop node after), this is what happens

I wasn't using fusion. I was just "cropping" using the "cropping" settings in the edit tab, thanks.

I usually create a garbage matte for cropping with Power Windows on the Color Page, and the reason why is a) I can curve the shapes to better match the foreground people and objects, and b) I can dynamically track them to be where they need to be in fast-moving situations. A fixed horizontal or vertical crop on the Edit page won't do that.
