I have read and watched videos for several days trying to figure out why I can't get Multicam to work properly.
I posted a detailed explanation of my situation somewhere on this forum that seemed to be a reasonable fit, but haven't gotten any responses at all. (Either it's in the wrong place, or my "detailed" explanation was too long for anybody to actually read it... happens to me quite often. I guess you can find it by searching for other posts made by me, but I'm not sure. I have very limited experience in forums, and usually end up "doing it wrong,' despite the fact that I try very hard to do it correctly.)
I would LOVE to simply talk to someone... anyone, really... who is willing to talk me through the steps of this workflow, so I can edit these SEVEN little dance recital routines, and get this project off my bench.
I have tried absolutely everything I can think of, and nothing is working... and it's been DAYS now.
Please help if you can.

Here's the approach I would use.

1. Create the Multicam from the bins using only camera media.
2. Add the new Multicam clip to a timeline.
3. Add whatever audio you want to hear under the Multicam clip and sync it up.
4. Disable the audio portion of the Multicam clip.
5. Edit away...

Depending on how the dances were shot, you can either create one Multicam for them all, or individual Multicams for each dance.

All that said, what exactly is "not working" for you?
