Source Timeline Feedback

PostSun May 25, 2025 4:13 pm

Editing from a source timeline using in the new (blue playhead) timeline mode is a god send for any users coming from Avid.

However this new feature isn't without some really unfortunate quirks that need addressing:

*Video and Audio tracks cannot be individually selected / highlighted for the patch.
*Audio tracks cannot be solo'ed (can be muted weirdly?)
*Cannot match frame a clip in a source timeline
*Cannot jump between markers with keyboard shortcut
*Cannot perform a search on a transcript

According to several users on here, source playback in timeline mode is choppy.
This makes it a real slog when watching though your selects timeline.

BMD - Please refine this awesome new mode you have implemented.
