DR19 Lockups During Render on New Computer

Hello,
I've been using Davinci Resolve for a long time, for very simple video editing. I got a new computer a couple of weeks ago, and I've started experiencing problems with Davinci Resolve. I frequently lock up during the rendering process.
Frequent as in, almost always, at least once, and at one point, I couldn't get through a specific file. I'll outline my process after my comp specs.
My "old" computer was 5 or so years old, and had a GFX1660 Super video card, 24GB RAM, an SSD and an HDD. It was a P-7 of some flavor, and I never once had a problem with Davinci Resolve with it (at least, nothing that wasn't user error).
New computer is brand new, fairly high end, 64GB RAM with 2 SSDs (no HDD), and a GeForce RTX 5080 video card. I have the latest Studio driver from NVIDIA (downloaded last night) and the computer is otherwise very clean, although Windows does appear to have synched a good amount of stuff from my old setup.
My process - I capture video with NVIDIA ShadowPlay. I load these into Davinci Resolve, and create separate timelines for each "episode." There is very little to no editing done on these, other than trimming deadspace at the beginning. The videos are about 20-40 minutes long, and I "batch" them by loading in 3-8 at a time, creating a separate timeline for each episode (as mentioned), then bulk render them when I'm done.
Almost always, it will lock up at some point during rendering. It can be 1 file or 8. And, rerunning it usually causes it to happen at a different point in the process (suggesting it isn't a data issue). The first couple of tries, I had one file that simply would not render at all, and I finally gave up on that one. The rest, even if they fail, I can often re-run, and they will complete. However, even doing them one-off, sometimes they'll still lock up.
In about 8 tries, I have only once had it render more than one video at a time successfully.
When it works, it absolutely sails! But, it almost never works.
I am using default settings for everything that I'm aware of. I've seen some posts about reducing render speed, but I haven't figured out where that is in 19. I'm using the YouTube 1080p preset. I've tried both H.264 and H.265 with very similar results.
I've even had it lock up with zero editing at all, simply dropping an MP4 on the timeline, and trying to render it.
Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.
