Beta 4B - Audio loss not fixed?

PostMon May 26, 2025 3:16 pm

I hesitated to update to Beta 4 due to the audio issue, but once the 4B was released I updated.

Today I'm losing my VO audio (Audio Track 3) every so often, usually after dragging and dropping a new .wav file to my VO bin (not to the time line yet), while other audio is still playing. Audio is NOT muted alltogether, just this track!

If I move my VO audio from Audio 3 to Audio 4 it starts playing again, and moving it back keeps that clip playing, while all the others are muted. I have to move EVERY clip out of Audio 3 and back again to un-mute them

Not sure if this is helpful to the engineers, but it's a PITA

Please indicate Resolve version, operating system, and computer spec (including GPU and driver and Audio IO configuration). Include this information in your signature.

Is this issue reproducible on the Edit page or Fairlight Timeline?

Could you include a link to the Project (.drp without media) which exhibits this issue?

If you could reproduce the issue and then generate diagnostic logs. Please include a link to the logs.

Instructions to generate logs are provided in the FAQ at the top of the forum: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=90190#16
