DVR 20 freezes like hell

Hi. So I installed v.20 of DVR, the stable one, not a Beta. And I'm seeing insane freezes when dragging my media into the timeline. See yourself:

This is the project I started working on in v. 19.1.4. There I had no freezes or any other problems. The project itself is not heavily edited - I cut it and placed Text and Text+ standard templates where I needed the text to be and entered the necessary text, plus I added a simple transition to one copy of the text so basically all the other texts are just copies.

Now this happens when I try to add simple mp3 sound effects on the timeline - DVR just hangs for 20 seconds or more with no impact on my system performance - the performance graphs are nearly flat.

- I deleted all the cache from all the projects I have now.
- I reset the UI
- I did not change anything in my system
- I deleted the Cuda cache before starting to work in DVR 20.
- I managed to edit the video to its end without an issue. But once I started to add new Texts+ effects I noticed the first freezes. It happened several times when I duplicated the Text+ on the track above it. It actually froze DVR completely several times, so I had to restart. Now it's happening with adding the sound and pictures (nothing fancy - jpegs in 1080p). I don't have any video to add but I'm sure it would freeze DVR too.
- Haven't done any coloring yet and only twice have I used the Fusion page - for isolating the person in the video from the background with the Magic Mask.
- There is Boris FX Continuum installed on my system as OFX but I didn't use it in any of my projects yet.

So basically the project is as simple as it is.

14700K, 4080, 64 Gb of ram. H264 420 8 bit footage only in 1080p, CFR; Win11 - Updated, NVidia Studio driver 576.52.

There are a bunch of this error in the most current log:

Would be worth trying Playback - Delete Render Cache - All, and see if that fixes the issue.

Hi, Dwaine, thanx for the response. Is deleting Render cache any different from deleting cache in all projects via the Manage Render Cache option? Because I wiped all the cache files in ALL projects, I mentioned that

Probably wouldn't expect it to be, but those errors are coming from somewhere. If you use the Playback - Delete Render Cache - All, we can be sure that cache for that project goes away.
