Yes, I also have this problem with Linux Mint.
The firewall is deactivated, but the download still doesn't start.

sudo cp /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt /etc/pki/tls/certs/ca-bundle.crt


Thank you, after creating the directories the download works. I'll see later whether it works or not
