Hi there,
I'm using a Blackmagic Studio Camera with two XLR microphones plugged in, one microphone for the left channel and one for right channel.
I'd like to get those microphones over to the fairlight page in DaVinci Resolve to record into two separate audio tracks.
I'd like to know if I can use my Blackmagic DeckLink Duo 2 card to capture the audio over SDI into the fairlight page (similarly how you can capture two sources via a USB Interface)
DaVinci Resolve sees my DeckLink card as 'Line In (Blackmagic DeckLink Duo 2 (1) Audio)' under Video I/O Settings. (I'm using System Audio as the I/O Engine)
I also see that when I go to 'Patch Input/Output' on the track I want to record to, the the DeckLink card appears correctly as the source.
However, when I patch it and hit to 'R' to arm record, I don't hear any audio and I do not see any audio signal in the audio track meter.
Can the fairlight page de-embed the audio from the SDI signal coming from the DeckLink Duo 2 card?
Is there a way to do this using only Blackmagic hardware? (without the need to buy a USB interface)
Best,
Cyprian
