Extend selected clip to next clip?

Hey everyone,
Is there shortcuts that would allow me to select a clip and then extend the left or right side of the clip to the next clip?
We have something similar in REAPER (DAW) and it's extremely useful.

E shortcut is Extend Edit to Playhead. That might get you there.

Thanks Jim, but, no, that requires extra steps. Much less efficient than my request, unfortunately.

Programming-wise, it would be:
Check if there is a next clip on the same track after the selected clip,
If exists, set the clip-end-time of the selected clip to the clip-start-time of the next clip.

Currently we would need to select the edit point, reposition playhead, then run the shortcut. This is 3 manual interventions rather than 1.

Thanks Jim, I've been a software beta tester (specialising in UI/UX) since 2008.

I was asking if a command already existed.

As a single step, no. That would have to be a new feature, or scripting might get you there. (Or Macros with something like a StreamDeck.)
