Adding more files to decomposed multi-cam clip crashes 20
Posted: Fri May 30, 2025 12:13 amUsing the training material from the Editors Guide, when setting up the multi-cam clip for the music video project, all works fine. However, when opening the multi-cam clip, and decomposing this, and then dragging in an additional video file to a new track on this, DaVinci Resolve 20 (final release) freezes, and then crashes to desktop.
My machine is Windows 11 with Nvidia GPU, however I am aware of users on Windows 10, and Mac that had the same issue, doing the same actions.
To replicate, merely follow the steps laid out in the V19 Editors Guide training material, but use V20 Studio.
