GoPro or DR20 issue? Date Created manipulation

I make YouTube videos with a few different cameras and have been using Resolve since 2019. Currently using DR20. It seems as if DR is subtracting five hours from the Date Created for just my GoPro clips. My videos are always edited in chronological order from when the shots were taken, so this five hour shift is causing a ton more work to figure out where the clips go in sequence. Windows Explorer shows the correct Date Created. Resolve subtracts five hours from just the GoPro footage, not from any of my other cameras. Thoughts?

A Time Zone issue maybe?
I wonder if GpPro is recording GMT and adding a Time Zone adjustment that Windows recognizes, but that Resolve ignores.

Interesting. I'll explore this possibility. But it's odd that it just started. I've been using the same camera combination for over a year. Thanks for your input.

My experience FWIW: must use DATE MODIFIED in Resolve and you have to check carefully for issues like time zones, etc. Especially if you have multiple cameras (or cellphones) from different people.
Tools like BulkRenameUtility can help you to fix timestamp problems. Note that date created actually refers to the operating system file creation date/time. Also, the metadata names from different file types are not consistent (e.g. photos vs video)

Date Modified works, but I've been sorting by Date Created with no issues since 2019, and since early 2024 with this same camera setup. This must be an issue with Resolve.
