Resolve Fusion fringes around Alpha

I am animation a couple of .psd layers in Resolve's Fusion page. The Animation starts with some layers animating in on a transparent background (a sky blue background node with its Alpha on 0) At some point the background is supposed to fade in (Alpha animated to 1) completely obscuring whatever lies underneath the fusion clip.
The animation basically works like I intend to, but I get strange fringing around layers, as long as this background node is not faded in completely. I know the color fringes stem from this background node, because when I change its color the fringe color also changes. It feels a bit like a premultiplied Alpha issue, but I don't know how to get rid of this.
If anyone could pont me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated.
