I'm creating a vertical video and i'm clicking the button on the right side in the editor to have a big viewer

However, this remove the inspector section and when I click the Inspector button, the viewer shrinks back, so no matter what I do, I cannot have both a big viewer and inspector...

System: Windows 10, resolve 20 studio final

I'm seeing the Inspector have no impact on the Expand View option in the Vertical workspace.

Studio 20 for Windows.

OK.

It could be related to your screen resolution. Anything less than 1440 and Resolve will make compromises for various things. I'm using a 2160 monitor, so there's plenty of room to fit everything.

Well, I tested it on Mac mini M4 pro and on Windows machine - both on 27" 2560x1440

And .. you're right, and shows correctly there

I wish BMD would show some warning on "small" (full HD) monitor that few things might not appear as they do on 2560x1440 and above...

Thanks for the heads up!

I actually wish BMD would program Resolve to require 1440 resolution, throwing up a warning about "Insufficient Hardware" if you try running it on anything less.

But, they won't. :?

Actually, I had seen few places, that their clients wanted to edit content on the field using Parsec, but with old laptops (think Thinkpad T480, Intel based Macbook air, etc...), and since they're In the field, they cannot attach it to an external monitor

That's why I think that BMD should just post a warning about window placement, and not leaving their customer puzzle what happend to the NLE and where things are located.
