Hello,
Working on a large project, 4K/30FPS timeline, mostly images and have been trying to animate them, sometimes am successful, other times, not using keyframes in the edit page. Have not tried them in the Fusion page as yet. This is a multiple timeline project where I'll be stitching these together into one long timeline at the end, after all editing/sweetening is finished. I do use Fusion to highlight sections of images while describing using an outline of either a circle or rectangle.
As I was editing, read that it's advised to disable timelines as the project gets longer to reduce stress on the machine (keep it from slowing down as much as possible) So I disabled 3 timelines I'm not using at the moment and today was reviewing two of them when I discovered they are messed up. Images too large, titles too large, or too low down and on one timeline, I've lost an image or two, and some titles are not showing up. Two of these images are overwritten by one that exists and all was fine until I disabled, as far as I know.
Fortunately, no crashes currently but it seems to be acting as if some features are partially working if they work at all. Have had issues trying to move my rectangle in fusion, but only up/down, not left/right (X/Y axis) at times.
Any ideas? I have been thinking upgrading to 20, but I've read it's not generally a good idea and I may have to do some major fixing. BTW been saving so that should not be the issue.
According to DR, I have Gallery/clip cache on drive G, an NVME, of 1TB, work drive is a SATA SSD drive where I move the entire project folder to when I begin the project so I pull all assetts etc off my archive drive, which is a traditional HD to this SATA SSD for editing. Software/OS is on the main NVME drive.
Graphics card is the Intel A770 and I have all video clips transcoded to Prores 422 HQ
I should say, one timeline is a recording from OBS with timecode whereby I needed to use the mousehighlight widget for highlighting an area of the sound while doing VO for one of the segments and
