On the color tab power windows and I cant figure out how to get the power windows to show up. I hope this is just a simple toggle that I am missing. I have toggled the window off and on however and I feel that this is a glitch. Please someone enlighten me.

Hey Peter,

It sounds like it could be a display toggle issue. Try pressing Shift+H to enable the Power Window overlay, as that often hides the outlines if turned off. Make sure you’re in the correct viewer mode, too, since certain modes (like Highlight or Gang mode) can prevent the outlines from appearing. Sometimes zoom level or UI scaling can also make the outlines hard to see, especially on high-resolution displays. If it’s not any of those, switching between nodes or restarting Resolve can help, as it might just be a temporary glitch. These issues are common and usually tied to workspace settings rather than an actual bug.

Go to the Options ("3-dot") menu and choose Window Outline > ON (or Only UI if you prefer):

If that doesn't do it, make sure the node is correct, and switch back and forth between the Primary palette and the Windows palette.

And if that doesn't do it, go to Workspace and choose "Reset UI." I'd bet for sure that now, the WIndows will show.

That was it. Is that window outline option in the display options new with 20? Thanks so much
