Timecode display size not matching other UI

PostTue Jun 24, 2025 8:34 pm

I have an issue with the timecode display size in the window. It was the same size as the rest of the UI and now it is larger and unreadable. I have changed the UI settings but it reverts back to this after restart. Anyone know how to get it back to normal size? TIA!

What happens if you go under Workspace and choose "Reset UI"? Any improvement?

There are unexpected changes to the GUI when you're using unusual screen sizes, especially when they get below 1920x1080.

Thank you Marc for the suggestion. Unfortunately that did nothing.

What page are you on? I ask as what I can see of your UI doesn't match any page of mine.

This for example is the top of my Edit page when viewed on a 1920x1080 monitor scaled to 100%. What version of Resolve are you using?

Hi Charles. That is the edit page on the release of version 20. I do use multiple monitors and video clean feed.

That would explain the top menu layout. I use 3 monitors, 2 for the UI and 1 for Clean Feed. Are you using Full Screen Timeline? This is what I see on the dual screen UI with Full Screen Timeline enabled.

Thanks again Charles. Yes and my issue on your display would be highlighted below. Its just that one "box" is larger than everything else. I must have accidentally hit something that caused it. I may just reinstall and see if that fixes it.
