Resolve Licence

PostSun Nov 04, 2012 10:05 pm

Does anyone know if the copy of Resolve that we receive with the camera is transferrable between systems?

We have a macbook pro retina that I want to use for capturing footage and transferring footage to. I'd like to see if it would run Resolve to allow us to do colouring with it, but if not quick enough will I be able to transfer the licence to one of our PC workstations?

Is it possible/easy to de-activate Resolve quickly?

I think this may work as it is an Usb dongle so you only need to insert the dongle in the machine you want. The copy comes in CD.

But I don't know why it always seemed to me that it's only for mac, but this is something i just suspect.

Jesus.

Hi,

Jesus is correct. The Resolve License is simply a USB dongle. So you can have Resolve installed on multiple systems and transfer the dongle to the system you need to use. However, the dongle definitely works for both Mac and Windows.
