Resolve - 1440x1080 export

Hi I'm a Resolve Lite user, and I'm having trouble exporting a video in its correct aspect ratio.

I'm working on a timeline with 2K 16.9 source files with 2048x1152 resolution. However the desired final aspect ratio is 1.33(4:3). I'm trying to export my timeline by choosing 'hd 1440x1080' in render settings.
When done with export, I do a playback on quicktime or vlc BUT the 4:3 material is stretched to 16:9.

When I import that rendered video into Resolve, Resolve shows it correctly.

I have no problem in exporting 1920x1080 with 1.33 output blanking.
The video looks ok.
But why can't I export directly 1440x1080 while preserving the aspect ratio?

If I export 2048x1536 or 1920x1440, the video isn't stretched at all and the aspect ratio is correct (1.33).
Same when I export 1442x1080, 1438x1080... (aspect ratio still 1.33-ish)

Is it possible this is a bug in the software? Or am I doing sth completely wrong?
Please help me out.
Thanks in advance.

I have the exact same problem, need to do a 1440*1080 output of a 1920*1080 pillarboxed project, i set the output scaling preset, everywhere pixel aspect ratio is set to 1, in DaVinci everything is ok but the delivered file is played 16/9 everywhere. Did you find a issue to this problem ?

(DaVinci Resolve 11.1.3 lite)

Tab Deliver => custom => video => resolution => (listbox) custom => enter 1440 x 1080 => Pixel aspect ratio = Square => Force sizing to highest quality => Add to render queue => Result matches? (Select a codec that allows formats other than broadcast like DNXHR)

At the end I did it with Premiere.
Davinci really can't do it.
