I posted a couple of days ago an Idea of drag and drop a node on the main video window and have the node "rippled" to all the selected clips, but I can go a bit further.
We lost teh ability to create [groups] like in the V10 and trim a node of the group, then delete the group and be merry, and there is a way to make it came back.
Let's say that you have three shot randomly selected in the timeline (like all the CU of the actress)
Let's say that all the shots have 4 nodes (because I'm diligent) 1 is basic correction, 2 is skin trim, three is another node, specific for that shot, 4 is the global "split the difference" node that the DP will ask later in trimming
Let's say that in a memory I have the node that I like to use for trimming and I need to replace it for all the shots.
At the moment I have to go to shot by shot with the node tree open adn drop the node I need in the node 4, go to the next and so on.
The Idea is to have more than a shot selected and do a [cntrl]+drop on node 4 and automatically all the node 4 will be replaced by my correction.
If node 4 does not exist, append how much dummy nodes you need and insert to node 4.
That will make up for:
the old node grouping.
the ability to easy ripple in non contiguous shots.
Thoughts?
