Deliver dpx sequence from flag shots

PostWed Feb 04, 2015 3:21 pm

Hi everybody,

I' ve flag some shot (actually the vfx shots) in my confo and I would like to export them but I want to keep the event number of the EDL. (so I ve put the %I in File subfolder )
Problem is when I filter the flag shots in deliver page, the event number is not the EDL event number anymore but begin at O1 .
Any solution to export flag shots and keep event EDL number?

thanks !

(potential workaround)

If you have the full timeline you can export each shot individually marking the in/out of that shot...

Try using the code in the suffix field. details in the manual, Page 796.
Make sure you are on the same timeline as the one you wish to render.

Peter, if you have a filter that filter let's say 20 shots out of a 300 shots timeline, now those event number will have the relative index of this new shorter timeline: for example shot 256 in the timeline, once is filtered can be shot 19 and it will use that [relative %I] index, not the original [256 %I absolute] of the unfiltered timeline....

I think the OP has that issue...

Ah, thanks... i just saw that the render tag I was looking for was not in the list.
I will have the manual updated... in the meantime.. can the OP try %E ?

%T Tape Number from EDL
%R Resolution of the rendered file (2048x1556)
%E Event number from EDL
%I Index of clip in the timeline
%V Version name of the rendered file
%S Stereo session - Left/Right
%{eye} - same as %S above
%L Reel Number extracted from source filename/clipname
%{shot} - Shot
%{scene} - Scene
%{take} - Take
