I want to use Davinci resolve. I am buying a computer to be able to capture on set and do color correction

please tell me if this is good enough for hd and sd:

That display resolution will not work for Resolve. Resolve needs at least a 1680x1050 display, which would be the HiRes 15" display option on a non-Retina MBP.

I have an I Mac 27 incher...OS X -- FCP X -- the outlet I bought it from sup'ed it up to the max have two terabytes, max ram and max memory, grabbed a Drobo in the deal...

Will my present Mac handle DaVinci 9...I do need an education on this.
Newbie.
I'm examining a possible commitment to the Black Magic Camera for my next feature length documentary.

Is the BMCC BBC Approved...if I must move to a new world...which Power Mac would do...or can I somehow enable my present IMac.
