Hi,

Could someone please explain this scenario.

I posted a few days ago a question as to whether Davinci Resolve 11Lite could read Sony MXF FILES.

A forum member said that it doesn't support these files.

Here is the crazy thing. I have two mac computers, one an iMac and the other a Macbook pro, each with DR11 Lite installed, exact same version.

The iMac won't play the files on DR11lite .....but my macbook is able to run these files in DR11Lite with not issue at all.

Are you using Resolve Lite from the Apple App Store, or from the BMD web site? And are you sure that is the same on both systems?

Can you post/link to a sample file?

Do you have the mxf encoder/decoder installed on both computers?
This could very well be something that Resolve uses but is third party - like Apple Prores.
