DaVinci Resolve is unable to write to selected cache path \Volumes\FINI Finals\CacheClip as it does not have write permission. Please ensure that DaVinci Resolve has write permission for the cache path selected and the first drive you list in Preferences.
how do i change the cache path.
thanks

Hello, Lenard,
you may give yourself a permission for the folder (or rather to all users) by using the finder info feature on your Mac Os X, or you may change a cache files location for your project in project settings/general options within DaVinci Resolve.

I had this problem too. We were moving a project from one system to another and it kept looking for it's previous chache location. It would even create a "phantom" drive location in the Library. Even if I deleted the phantom drive it would remount itself. I eventually did a reveal in Finder, which located it deep within the OS /Volumes stucture, and I just gave it proper permissions. Seemed like a mkdir command was being called somehow.
