I have an issue with Resolve 11.3.1 OSX being unresponsive after creating a new project. All mouse selections result in system error beep and nothing can be selected or changed, including preferences. Quit option and all menu selections are greyed out. If I save the project using the keyboard & quit using the keyboard & then start Resolve again, selecting the newly created project works as normal with no problems. This started happening after migrating to a new iMac 5k. I have trashed preferences etc. Any help appreciated.

I found the solution, but it's a strange issue.

I had a portable media drive set in preferences which I had added to my regular RAID setup. The portable drive was a client drive that I had worked from directly. The issue only started after removing the drive but leaving the preferences for the drive. Deleting the reference in preferences cleared the problem. It's the first time that has happened on my system.
