Ignoring Project Framerate

Hi
I have a ProRes 4:4:4 file shot at 3840x2160p50 but with Project Framerate metadata set to 25p. It is importing as a slow-mo.
How can I get Resolve to recognise it as a true 50p file?

What do you mean by true 50p?
If you are doing HFR for display then you'll need a 50 timeline otherwise it will be slowmo.

I'm not doing HFR, just 50 fps. (HfR is a frame rate found in Bt.2020 but not Bt.709)
Problem is, the footage has metadata saying it should be used on a 25p timeline as a slowmo - whereas I want Resolve to ignore this metadata and use 50p without interpolation.

In the mediapool, right click the clip and select 'Clip Attributes', then chose "50" fps as the framerate.
If you have already used the clip in a timeline at the 25 fps setting, you might need to insert the clip again, as the timecode and length is now off.

You will also need very hefty hardware and i/o in order to handle 50fps realtime UHD. You may also need to extend the end of the clip once you change the Clip Attributes to 50fps if it's already in the timeline.

Many Thanks all,
I don't need real-time UHD playback - as long as I can export something over a weekend, I'm happy.
I'd tried changing the clip speed, but was getting motion artefacts - clip attributes does work well.
