Trouble getting timeline viewer external output on Edit Page

I've got a ref mov file running in sync with the timeline viewer on the Edit page, however, I can't seem to get the timeline viewer to play on the external monitor which is being sent it's signal from a Decklink card. Only the offline ref movie seems to be what plays no matter what I change in the View menu. Even when the timeline name is highlighted in orange lettering vs the ref movie player, only the ref movie plays out on the external monitor.

What switch am I missing to throw here?

PS: very choppy playback on Edit page vs smooth on Color page.

The choppy Edit playback will be improved in v12.

On Mac OSX, command-1, command-2, and command-3 grabs different windows in the Edit page, as I recall. The timeline viewer can play out to the hero display when that's selected.

Marc, thanks and good news about V12 playback.

If I were using a second computer monitor for external full frame playback the CMD 1, 2 3 might work, but I am using an ECinema grading CRT as the external monitor, the signal feeding it is coming from an installed Decklink PCIe card. All I can get is the reference movie viewer to show on that screen regardless of what I choose in the View menu or use the CMD keys to select.

Anyone from BMD care to chime in about how to get the Decklink to feed the timeline viewer signal instead of the offline checkerboard viewer?

SOLVED!

I just needed to change from Offline to Source on the left viewer to get the source video to play out to external monitor

Doh!
