Correct. Resolve Lite is now Called Resolve. The full version of Resolve is now called Resolve Studio. You Resolve 9/10/11 USB dongle unlocks Resolve 12 Studio.

I can confirm, just tried the full Resolve 12 Studio with my dongle acquired from a BM4K, worked nicely. Can't wait to try it on a project!

Brilliant, I've got a whole year and terabytes of RAW footage to edit and grade.

Will find out soon if finally I can start waving goodbye to Premiere. I've got my neglected license of Sound Forge to replace Audition.

I'd still like to see easy integration with Fusion, hopefully that be on the horizon at some point.


Edit: Resolve 12 has audio fx and VST support now, improved GUI mixer. Great stuff.

Looks good. Finally able to keyframe audio, fade and apparently use audio plugins. Great interface, ACR like sliders in addition to BMD color.

Thanks for the help and clarification Adam. I lurk a lot, and it's amazing how often I find you in threads totally willing to help out people-- whether it's something simple or something really quite technical as it pertains to BMD (or not). I appreciate it man.

The enhancements on the new interface are a huge step up. Much more customizable and smoother to use. And it indeed is faster than v11. Didnt try the Edit page but, as many others, I´m really hoping I can change from -whatever editor- to Resolve and do all these steps inside the same program.

Thank you BMD. Love the interface, very modern and responsive. 3D Keyer, implemented nicely. I only have to leave the app to work in Lightwave3D, Fusion and Syntheyes. Sweet.

I took it for a spin all day today. It felt like driving a stolen sports car, glorious!

Will it improve 4K raw playback performance? It's still choppy on my 6core 2014 Mac Pro
