Hardware requirement for Resolve v12

I recently purchased an URSA camera with version 11 of Resolve included. Unfortunately it will not run on my 13 inch MacBook Pro or Mac Mini and am considering building a Windows workstation specifically for editing. The recommended motherboard in the new version 12 configuration guide is still the Asus P9X79-E WS. Is this still the best board, or can anyone recommend an alternative, possibly based on the 2011 v3 socket please? I currently only shoot in HD, but would like the option of moving to UHD in the future. A Thunderbolt port would be an advantage (to connect a Focusrite Saffire 56) but is not essential.

Dave, checkout the Configuration Guide for Mac for Resolve 12 released today and available on the BMD Support webpage.

Thanks Rick - it was the new configuration guide that prompted my question as the suggested motherboard is the same board that was recommended in version 11 last year, which appears to be near its end of life. If this is still the best board, I'll go with it.
