same machine, with v12 only 30 - 34 fps no correction...
That is strange that 12 is appearing to be slower than 11. Just speculating, since everyone is seeing performance improvements with the Resolve 12 public beta, that something else may have changed... Something else using the machine at the same time, the memory or media storage getting full or busy at the time?
It is a huge performance improvement comparing to 11 no doubt here. I just wanted to point out that 4K lost some fps performance.
BTW all posts reporting about performance boost are speaking about 1080p Timeline.

Even with proxies, if 11 plays them back with up to 48fps and 12 with only 34fps there is a difference.

I turned iMac on, opened my 4K 50p project on Davinci 11, played it back and I got 44 -48 fps of cashed ProRes 4444. I quit DaVinci, installed V12, reopened the same project, I got 30 - 34 fps. I thought, hm? perhaps a reboot would be not bad

. I did that and again same result. All this result are from color room with no correction applied to them.
On editing room I get the same framerate of 30 to 34 fps, but when choose "Show all video frames" I only get a playback of 25-26 fps.
