Very much worth reading this first to get an idea about the most important differences and changes, especially before getting upset that you can't find something
No one wants to read the full manual before playing around, so this takes some of the work out of it for you.

Alexis does good work. This column kind of takes the place of a "Here's What's New" section of the manual (which I still wish it had).
I wish there had been a section of the manual -- or even a separate section -- that says, "if you already know Resolve 11, here's all the stuff that's new and how to run it." I bet that could be condensed down to 100 pages, tops.

Yes but at the development speed of the DaVinci engineering team its out of date before its complete.
