Resolve12 Beta - Timecode bug

PostTue Jul 28, 2015 6:07 am

Hi Team,
In the Deliver page if I render a file using "Individual Source Clips" the output file has no embedded timecode. If I render a file using "Single Clip" only the first frame has timecode (all other frames have rubbish code).
Input files tried: ProRes422HQ, and H.264.MOV (both files has embedded timecode. Timeline timecode: default 1hour start).
Output files tried: ProRes422HQ, and H.264.MOV
Machine: Topshelf 5K iMac.
Thanks.

Confirmed.
No timecode track at all in ProRes or H264 files.

Hi Guys, I'm not seeing this here.
Can you let me know what you are using to play the clips that are not showing timecode?
Can you provide a project export drp?
Sample clip even, via dropbox or the like.

Peter,

25fps XAVC original transcode to ProRes.

The timeline output has no timecode track as shown by Quicktime 7 while the individual clip output shows a 1 frame burst of code and then nothing. PM me with an email to reference drop box.

Just did a render last night, and I see no timecode in the outputted ProRes 422 file according to QuickTime 7. This is definitely a bug.

Hi all,
I just rendered a few files to ProRes 422 with no timecode problem.
ProRes to ProRes, RMF to ProRes and MXF to ProRes with no timecode issues, all files matching the originals.
