DR 12 - track audio level

PostWed Jul 29, 2015 9:40 am

So I noticed this bug today.

Lets say I wanna raise the volume for the whole track. And I am not using mixer I am gonna use a dropdown button thats available for each Audio track in timeline (looks like an eye but I think its a keyframe crossed with line or something of that sort). So in this dropdown I can move volume for a whole track and once in a while it bugs everything. I cant even start playback and my keyboard shortcuts stop working in davinci.

I didnt notice such a behavior using mixer.

Ohhh...and if I may suggest - it would be great to be able to name tracks in timeline instead of having only A1 A2 etc... :)

Hi, you can rename the audio track, just select the 'Audio 1' text in the timeline LHS.

I don't see the track gain bug here. Can you detail your system?
Do you have the same issue when using the inspector gain?

OK so I was trying to figure this out and I was wrong - its not related to track only... It only happens once in a while and it is related to audio mixing. For example working with keyframes in clip level keyframe window or any other audio related stuff. And I noticed it only happens when Iam working really fast like... quick adjustments, hit the spacebar, another adjustment and so on...

When it happens my keyboard stops responding and resolve crashes then...

My PC stats are i7, 8gb ram, nvidia gtx 770, win 8.1...

But to be honest - its not some major issue I can live with that. After all its still the best editor I ever worked with... :)
