This has to do with some erroneous drive instances that keep cropping up. For example, if I have a drive named "Drive" and I select it in the Media Storage preferences, I will often in the Media Browser see it listed twice: 1) "/Volumes/Drive" and 2) "Drive"
The first instance will be empty and the second populated by the actual drive contents. Under these circumstances, if I choose a Favorite from Drive, that Favorite will not work. If I remove the drive from Preferences and then add it back in, all works normally. But after quitting Resolve and then reopening it, the /Volumes/Drive instance is back and the Favorites from that drive no longer work.
Removing the Drive in Preferences and selecting it in Project Settings for Cache and Still locations seems to make everything work. Is there any downside to doing this?
